Since 1973, our mission has always been simple: provide our customers with the highest quality of product for the best value. Started during the rise of the fast food industry, one of our original goals was to inspire people to choose better, healthier methods of cooking. This feeling remains true today but now spans the many uses for our products in addition to cooking. Our time and dedication to the industry has cemented us as a leader among bulk spice and herb companies.
With products ranging from spices and teas to herbs and botanicals, our efforts toward achieving this goal are reflected in the superior quality of our products, fast turnaround times, and a high level of customer service and support.
OUR WHOLESALE OUTLET
We welcome the public to come into our store to enjoy the richly aromatic experience to be had by walking through our rows of packaged spices and herbs. Our products are all packaged in clear wrapping, so you can see and feel exactly what you purchase. And, if you’re new to buying spices in bulk, our highly experienced team is always on standby ready to assist you.
The store is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm (closed Sundays and major holidays).
Store address: 250 14th St (between Mission & South Van Ness), San Francisco CA 94103
Located behind and beside our wholesale outlet, our warehouse takes up almost 1/6 of a city block. Here we receive our containers and truck shipments, package our bulk materials, computer control inventory and ship out your orders.
Here at SF Herb, we have a diverse team of experts that we like to think is reflective of the melting pot that is San Francisco. Most of our employees have been with us for over 10 years, truly setting us apart in terms of expertise.
Our staff has been experienced and dedicated from the start—so much so that we actually developed our own custom software back in the 70s to help prioritize the customer experience.
Neil is one of the original owners of San Francisco Herb Co. He is a very enthusiastic business man and loves to go to work on Monday morning. A sailboard enthusiast who became a CPA after Vietnam, he's a self-described "numbers guy" who designed the inventory control system for SF Herb.
