Description
Pau d'arco is also known as Lapacho, Taheebo, and Ipê Roxo. Our pau d'arco is the inner bark of a South American tree of the Tabebuia species, which has purple flowers. Pau d'arco is commonly used for its antibiotic and virucidal properties, especially during cold and flu season. More scientific evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of pau d'arco for these uses.
