Cleavers has many common names, including Bedstraw, Clivers, Goosegrass, Grip Grass and Stickyweed. An edible wild plant, the stems and leaves of fresh Cleavers may be cooked and eaten. In folk medicine, Cleavers were used as a poultice for skin ailments, burns and wounds as well as a tea to purportedly assist the lymph nodes.
